The first edition of the Galician Tourism Awards, organized by the Galician Tourism Cluster in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, will have as master of ceremonies the actor Javier Veiga (O Grove), in charge of conducting a gala that will take place in the Rosalía de Castro Theatre in A Coruña on December 3.
The nine awards corresponding to the nine categories that make up this first edition of the Galician Tourism Awards will be delivered during a ceremony that will also include the musical performance of Tanxugueiras, among other surprises.

The awards that will be delivered on December 3 are the correspondents to the awards Vanguardia, Sustainability, Heritage, Promotion and Event. These five prizes will be awarded throughout the month of November by a jury formed by representatives of Industry, Administration and University, in addition to the Scenario prize which has been voted on the website prizesgaliciadeturismo.gal from a selection of photographs of 24 Galician tourist resources by the Executive Council of the Galician Tourism Cluster, and the three honorary recognitions: Ambassador or National Ambassador, Ambassador or International Ambassador, and Pioneer or Pioneer, which are chosen directly by the promoters of the event.

The Galicia Tourism Awards are the highest recognition given by the tourism industry to individuals, institutions and entities for their work in favour of the consolidation of Galicia as a welcoming, contemporary, innovative, quality and environmentally friendly tourist destination. They are born in 2019 with vocation of continuity and to be granted with an annual periodicity by the Cluster Tourism of Galicia and the Xunta de Galicia in a scheme of public-private collaboration integrated in the strategic planning of the tourist development of the Community.
