In order to have a digital tool that allows physicians thermal health standardized management of medical records of patients, Balnearios de Galicia is implementing the software called Termagal, an innovative tool created to standardize processes health care the spas of Galicia.
Organized in cooperation with the Tourism Galicia, the initiative in the interest of Galician thermal sector by revaluing health services offered, from the monitoring of cases handled and the results obtained in the different spas. Termagal and makes it easier for physicians whole process of medical care and also enable the processing and exchange of data in a standardized language
Through an intuitive touch screen and very easy to use, based on the graphic representation of information about the different parts of the body, the software makes it possible to collect information from patients and monitor the evolution of the different variables commonly in all spas, hardly need to write and using a standardized language so that knowledge of different medical problems that are consulted in the spas enriched. Thus, statistics of large utility obtained to conduct scientific studies that will affect the ability to assess the benefits of treatment with medicinal mineral waters and enhance uptake of users of various health systems and countries with coverage of this type of treatments.

The Director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, had the opportunity to know the functioning of the application in a day of presentation of the tool. Castro noted that this tool is a “fundamental to continue consolidating Galicia as thermal reference target push,” while highlighting the great potential of Galicia in the development of thermal spas.
