The first of the conferences starts next Tuesday in Ribeira, a seminar on Strategic Analysis and Management of Companies in the Tourism Sector

Cluster Turismo Galicia (CTG) presented this morning in the City of Culture of Santiago the third edition of its Training Plan, which will develop during the months of September, October and November with the support of IFFE Business School in the framework of the collaboration agreement signed with the Tourism Agency of Galicia. The program consists of a total of 34 actions that will be developed over the course of these months in 14 Galician localities in the four provinces, with the aim of offering a high added value and free training, especially aimed at improving the capacities and skills of managers, entrepreneurs and professionals of the Galician tourism sector. Thus begins the third edition of this training plan, an initiative that is, in the words of the Secretary of the Cluster Tourism of Galicia, Cesareo Pardal, “a strong commitment of the Tourism Cluster of Galicia for the training and professionalization in our sector, which we want to provide tools that make it stronger and more competitive. “

In this regard, Cesareo Pardal stressed the importance of training to promote a future tourism sector, aimed at “increasing the competitiveness and internationalization of our products” and stressed that the training offered under this training plan is again , once again, free of charge and distributed in the four Galician provinces, with the aim of facilitating the maximum use of these training courses for entrepreneurs. a list of technical workshops and a Higher Program of Management and Management of Tourism Companies will complete the training offered in this program and which can benefit just over 400 professionals in the sector.

Training by prominent professionals

The Director General of IFFE Business School, Manuel Carneiro, also took part in the presentation of the plan to explain both the included training actions and the panel of speakers, which has well-known experts and practitioners in some of the main companies in the sector , as well as with renowned consultants and teachers of the stature of Juan Carlos Alcaide, Jimmy Pons, Diego Fernandez Pérez de Ponga, Tomás Rodicio, Jorge Vallina, Xosé Luis Reza, Patricia Cuevas, Santiago Martínez, Iñaki Gaztelumendi or Merce Carballo, among others, which will allow the participants in the training actions to improve their communication skills, analyze their business models, familiarize themselves with e-marketing tools or revenue techniques, all of which are useful for boosting the sector’s capabilities tourist.

Schedule of activities throughout Galicia

The training plan includes 19 intensive work days in the localities of A Coruña, Santiago, Ferrol, Ribeira, Monforte, Ourense, Verín, Pontevedra, Vigo and Sanxenxo, articulated in 5 Seminars of Analysis and Strategic Management of Tourist Companies, 4 Workshops Communication Skills, 4 Workshops oriented to the Internationalization, 6 Technical Workshops on sustainability, revenue, e-marketing, new technologies, customer experience and innovation applied to the tourism, as well as a Superior Program of Management and Management of Tourist Companies that are will be developed over more than three weeks in Santiago. These days will be complemented by twelve awareness actions on the use and impact of new technologies in the tourism sector, which will reach many other Galician localities.

The registration deadline for all these activities is already open through the website www.iffe.es/turismo, where also can be consulted all the activities to be carried out. Following today’s presentation, the first of these will start next Tuesday in Riberia with a Seminar on Strategic Analysis and Management of Tourism Sector Companies, to be repeated on 25 September and 3, 4 and 11 October in Lugo, Pontevedra , Ourense and Santiago de Compostela respectively.
