More than 70 rural tourism establishments take part in the 15th Autumn Gastronomic Festival

The president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster took part in Celanova in the presentation of the new edition of this initiative.


The fifteenth edition of the Gastronomic Autumn is ready to attract the attention of the public to the wide range of rural tourism in Galicia. A total of 73 establishments from the four Galician provinces will take part in this initiative, which will run from 17 September to 19 December and will allow couples, friends and families to enjoy a getaway and taste the tasty gastronomic offer specially designed for the occasion.


Participants can choose between the Autumn Gastronomic Menu, the Autumn Gastronomic Package (which includes one night’s accommodation at the selected establishment), the Autumn Gastronomic Weekend (two nights’ accommodation) and the Autumn Plus (in the case of those establishments offering complementary activities such as hiking or horse riding). In addition, on this occasion, those who stay two weekends in any of the establishments participating in the initiative will be able to win the OuBono Gastronómico, which consists of a free Autumn Gastronomic Weekend for two people.


The president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo González Pardal, participated together with the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro Domínguez, and the presidents of the Galician Federation of Rural Tourism, Francisco Almuíña, and of the Galician Association of Rural Tourism, Juan Luis García, in the act of presentation of this 15th Gastronomic Autumn celebrated in the Rectoral de Anxemil (Celanova).


One of the main novelties of this edition is that all the menus prepared by the participating establishments will include Galician products with quality certificates endorsed by the Galician Food Quality Agency.


Since its launch 14 years ago, the Gastronomic Autumn has enabled a total of 71,000 people to enjoy the services of the participating establishments, generating more than 4 million euros in economic activity.
