The program includes more than 150 hours aimed at training professionals that develops in 9 Galician cities

The first of the conference starts Thursday in Ourense, a seminar Estratética Business Management Tourism Industry

Cluster Turismo Galicia (CTG) presented this morning in the City of Culture in Santiago the second edition of its training plan that develops during the months of October and November with the support of IFFE Business School sheltered from the collaboration agreement with the Tourism Agency of Galicia, and that is, in the words of the President of the cluster, Francisco Gonzalez, a tool to “build a strong and competitive industry,” able to “offer tourists a unique experience differentiated and, above all, professional and quality “.

Francisco González stressed the importance of training to boost the Galician tourism sector, which is “in a process of profound change” aimed at “increasing our competitiveness and internationalization of our products.” The president of the Tourism Cluster of Galicia underlined the gratuitousness of the activities that take place in different parts of Galicia, and that will improve the skills of professionals in areas such as leadership, marketing, communication or marketing.
The presentation also participated Manuel Carneiro, CEO of IFFE Business School, who explained the details of the program. The plan includes more than 150 hours of free training through workshops and seminars in nine Galician towns. At least 200 professionals, preferably with a management profile, participate in the training activities for which registration is open.

Training by outstanding professionals
CEO IFFE Business School, Manuel Carneiro, said the panel of speakers has known experts and tourism professionals as well as reputable consultants and teachers in other subjects such as Diego Fernandez Perez de Ponga, Jorge Vallina Crespo, Clemen Rodriguez, Beatriz Pereira, Xosé Luis Reza, Javier Corrochano, Patricia Cuevas or Jimmy Pons, among others, which allow workshop participants to acquire or improve skills in public speaking, analysis of a business model or use base data, issues all useful in enhancing the capabilities of the tourism sector.

Calendar of activities throughout Galicia
The training plan includes twelve working days in the towns of Ourense, Lugo, Sanxenxo, A Coruña, Monforte de Lemos, Vigo, Ribadeo and Lalin, articulated in three workshops Communication Skills; four seminars Strategic Management of tourism companies and four technical workshops and a Senior Management Program Management and Tourism Management which will run along more than two weeks in Santiago.
The schedule of activities, available both on the web Tourism Cluster of Galicia and IFFE Business School, starts this Thursday in Ourense with Estrategic Management Seminar of the tourism industry. The same seminar, eight hours spread over the morning and afternoon of the same day, will be repeated on 10, 17 and October 20 in A Coruña, Vigo and Monforte de Lemos.
Ourense will also host the next day 11 the first Communication Skills Workshop, which will be repeated 2 to November 14 in Lugo and Sanxenxo. It is also a program of eight hours in a day morning and afternoon.
The plan also includes five technical workshops a day each. Sanxenxo will host the first on October 18, “How to always sell at the best price.” Ribadeo, 25 this month, “The sustainability and efficiency in the management of tourism enterprises” will be addressed. In Vigo another workshop will be held on November 8, on “Improving business through the analysis and study of databases”. A Coruña will be 21 next month stage at the “Application of new technologies in the sector (e-marketing) and Lalin, on 22, will host the final workshop on” Innovation in the design program of the tourism product. ”
The calendar is completed by the Senior Management Program and Management of Tourism Companies, 60 hours, which will be held in the afternoon in Santiago de Compostela, from 17 October to 3 November.
