Under the title “Neste Entroido… que non chos disguise”, the initiative aims to make the sector aware of the importance of consuming protected and labelled spirits.
Organised by Turismo de Galicia in collaboration with the Galician Tourism Cluster, the delegations of the Xunta de Galicia in A Coruña and Ourense, as well as the Consellerías de Medio Rural e Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria, and with the collaboration of the Consejo Regulador de los Aguardientes y Licores Tradicionales de Galicia, the aim of this initiative is to publicise and promote the 100% Galician distillates among the tourism sector.
The initiative, which is called “Neste Entroido… que non chos disfracen”, will be held over three days in Santiago, A Coruña and Ourense with the aim of raising awareness in the tourism sector in Galicia about the importance of tasting certified and labeled spirits, avoiding the consumption of a product “disguised”, unregulated, while at the same time instilling in the importance of placing
Thus, the first conference will take place on Monday 5 February at the CSHG, in Compostela, aimed at its students, in a first meeting with the participation of the Regional Minister for Rural Affairs and the director of Professionalisation of the CSHG. The conference aimed at the professional sector will take place on Tuesday 6, at the Vilamarin High School, with the participation of the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, and on Wednesday 7, at the CIFP Paseo das Pontes, where the Director General of Gandería, Agriculture and Food Industries will also participate.
