In addition to the certification process and promotion of quality in tourism companies, the Spanish Tourism Quality System in Destinations, SCTE Destinos, promotes training with the aim of involving all agents operating in a tourist destination. In this context, Vigo is hosting a training action in Vigo from 13 to 16 November aimed at training SICTED agents: managers, trainers, advisors and evaluators of the Galician model and tourist destinations.
The SICTED training is aimed at active agents in the tourism sector, with the following profiles:
Technicians of town councils, local development agents, tourist information officers,…, linked to the destination in which they provide their services, in order to ensure the viability and permanence of the project
Tourism technicians from autonomous communities, provincial councils, geodestinos,…
Staff of mixed companies at different levels of government
Consultants in tourism (employee or freelancers).

The commitment made by Turismo de Galicia to the implementation of the Spanish Tourism Quality Model in Destinations (SCTE Destinations), with which five tourist destinations are already working in Galicia (Ferrol, Guitiriz, Baiona, Sanxenxo, Rías Baixas and Santiago de Compostela), makes these trainings increasingly interesting for the training of agents involved in the model and for all those destinations wishing to develop it in Spain.
