Representatives of the Clúster Turismo de Galicia held a meeting with the President of the Diputación de Ourense, Manuel Baltar, with the objective of advancing a future collaboration with a view to organizing Cluster activities in this territory, as well as knowing firsthand the Actions that in the matter of thermalism, value of the patrimony and implementation of new technologies has been carried in the province of the hand of this entity.

Thus, the president of the Cluster, Francisco González, accompanied by the secretary of the body, Cesareo Pardal, discussed with Baltar issues related to the plan “Ourense, a thermal province”, and the promotion of the province’s thermal resources, as well as Tourist potential of the Vía de la Plata and the historical and patrimonial wealth that Ourense treasures. In this sense, the President of the Diputación, Manuel Baltar, explained to the representatives the work that the Diputación has been developing in respect to the “Ourense brand”, related to the promotion of tourism, culture, sports and economic, together With innovation in terms of technological management, which make the province of Ourense a “vanguard territory” to apply management innovation in the field of tourism and achieve the distinction of being the first province called “Intelligent Tourist Destination.”

On the other hand, the Cluster president took advantage of the meeting to deepen the operation and evolution of the Cluster in these three years of wine, emphasizing the unique voice work of the Galician tourism, by bringing together the interests of associations, companies and professionals, A figure that increases the options to bet on internationalization and the opening to new markets and tourism projects.
