The Galician tourism sector is present this week at the World Travel Market London, the international tourism fair that since 1980 brings together the most important actors annually of the tourism sector on the five continents. The Galician Tourism Agency has its own exhibition space on the ExCeL exhibition center grounds.
The Galician Tourism Cluster participates in this event with a Galician delegation made up of the president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal; the vice president, Jesús Picallo; the treasurer, Alfonso Martínez; the member, Francisco González; and representatives of a dozen companies from various tourism subsectors such as travel agencies, accommodation and complementary offerings. The commercial mission is made up of the tourism companies Tee Travel, Mega Mundo Estrella Galicia, Carris Hoteles, Hotel Carlos I, Pilgrim Travel, Artnatura Galicia, Viajes Interrías, Oca Hotels, Viajes Camino de Santiago and Hotel Pazo de los Escudos.
The Cluster makes a space available to the representatives of these companies within the Galician Tourism stand, with the aim of allowing them to present their proposals outside of the contacts or meetings that each of them manages during their stay. at the London fair.
Those responsible for WTM London highlight this international fair as “the most influential travel and tourism event worldwide.” In the last edition, the WTM received more than 35,000 professionals from up to 184 different countries, providing a networking space to generate new contacts and business opportunities.
