The Galicia Tourism Cluster facilitated the contact of a hundred companies with a dozen international markets in 2022

It took part in around fifteen events, including fairs, workshops and presentations, which amounted to some 1,000 business meetings.

Santiago de Compostela, 5 January 2023. The Galicia Tourism Cluster faced last year with a commitment to resume internationalisation by participating in fifteen events including fairs, workshops and presentations in ten different countries in Europe, North America and South America. More than one hundred companies from the sector participated in these meetings, promoted by the Cluster or in collaboration with the Public Administrations.

Making Galicia visible and positioning it as a quality, sustainable and intelligent destination and opening up new business opportunities are the main objectives of these actions, which in 2022 promoted some 1,500 business meetings between Galician companies and companies from other countries.

Of the 15 events, 4 were international fairs of reference for the sector such as the ITB in Berlin, the WTM in London, TTG Incontri Rimini and IMEX in Frankfurt.

In addition, throughout the year the Cluster participated in various workshops and presentations, both Destination Galicia and Xacobeo 21-22 in Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt and Hamburg, London, Porto, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, Miami, Tel Aviv and the “Roadshow Spain 2022”, which toured Rome, Catania, Bologna and Milan, with 4 workshops and two presentations to Italian buyers. These actions were complemented with other meetings in different cities in Spain.

Galicia Tourism Cluster, as an umbrella organisation for the sector, is committed to raising the profile of the unique products of our land in Spain and abroad.
