This Friday practically concludes the Training Plan that the Galician Tourism Cluster has promoted since October through seminars, workshops and a higher education program aimed at managers. And it does so by training a total of 140 professionals from the tourism sector who have participated in the workshops on internationalisation, resale management and technological changes in the sector that have taken place this week. At the end of this week there will only be a couple of seminars and the closing day.
In addition, Diego Fernández Pérez de Ponga has been in charge of offering the final masterclass of the Higher Programme of Management and Management of Tourist Enterprises that has been given over 120 hours between October and November in Santiago de Compostela. Both these students and the rest of those who have participated in the program as a whole, more than 400 in total, will also have the opportunity to participate in a final masterclass that will be held at the end of November by a leading expert in the tourism sector and with which the training will be finalized this year.
During these two months, the professionals of the tourism sector who have registered to participate in some of the proposed activities, all of them free of charge, have been able to take part in 19 intensive days of work in the towns of A Coruña, Santiago, Ferrol, Ribeira, Monforte, Ourense, Verín, Pontevedra, Vigo and Sanxenxo, articulated in 5 Seminars of Analysis and Strategic Direction An exhaustive program that was completed with twelve actions to raise awareness about the use and impact of new technologies in the tourism sector that were given in twelve Galician cities.
