Turismo Sostenible

  • The evaluation committee approved the addition of four companies last Friday, November 28.
  • Eight new sustainable experiences have been added to the tourism brand’s offerings, which now include more than 190 sustainable getaways.

The ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ tourism brand is reinforcing its commitment to responsible tourism by recently adding four new Galician companies: Amar Carril, Vio Viajes, Experiencias del Destino and Hotel El Puente.

In addition, the addition of eight new experiences focused on sustainability and respect for the environment was also approved, adding to the club’s existing catalog. With these new additions, the product club continues to solidify its position as a leading platform for sustainable tourism in Galicia, both in terms of the number of member companies (currently over 155) and the variety and quality of the more than 190 tourism experiences it offers, all linked to respect for nature, local identity, and the well-being of the community.

  • How can I join ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’?

Companies interested in joining ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ can begin the membership process through the official website, fulfilling one of the eligibility requirements or all of the mandatory requirements and one-third of the evaluable requirements. Once accepted, they can manage their experiences on the portal and benefit from the club’s advantages completely free of charge.

Since its creation in 2022, driven by the Galicia Tourism Cluster and financed by the Xunta through the Galicia Tourism Agency, the club promotes a network of companies that are committed to sustainability as a differentiating value, showcasing a responsible, diverse and continuously growing tourism offer.
