The Galicia Tourism Cluster is renewing its free specialized consulting service for another year to help businesses obtain and maintain the Q for Quality Tourism and S for Sustainable Tourism certifications, with the goal of continuing to support the sector in the ongoing improvement of its management and responsibility standards.

This initiative, which falls under the collaboration agreements with the Galicia Tourism Agency, is designed to facilitate the adaptation process for tourism businesses to the requirements necessary to access these certifications, which are widely recognized nationally and internationally.

Through this service, participating organizations receive personalized technical support throughout all phases of the process, from document review and the implementation of improvements to assistance with external audits and the proper valuation of the certifications obtained. In the case of sustainability certification, the support also includes compliance with specific technical standards, such as UNE-ISO 21401:2019, which is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

What do these certifications offer?

• The Q for Tourism Quality guarantees demanding standards in the management, services, and facilities of tourism organizations.
• The S for Sustainability recognizes the implementation of best practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), rewarding companies that are moving towards a more respectful and responsible model for the environment.
