The second annual call for proposals of the Re-acciona programme kicks off with a sectoral conference on wine tourism

The Galician Institute of Economic Promotion (Igape) has just opened the second call of the year for the application of the services it offers with the Re-action programme. For this reason, it is organising a series of sectoral conferences with the aim of presenting the advantages that these services can bring to SMEs.

The first of these was centred on the wine tourism sector, a meeting held at the Ethnographic Museum of Wine in Cambados, which served to address the evolution of wine tourism as a tool that allows the essence of a territory to be known through a product, in this case, wine. The conference was attended by the Mayoress of Cambados, Fátima Abal, and the Councillor for Wine Tourism, José Ramón Abal, and with a round table discussion that allowed us to learn about the experience of companies such as Siente Galicia and Trazer, as well as the Regional Minister for Economy, Employment and Industry, who spoke about the services of the programme, which has already helped more than 1,500 SMEs since its launch.
After the Re-action experiences, two more presentations were given on wine tourism, one by the head of wine tourism at the Martín Códax winery, María Otero, and the other by the director of the Instituto del Viño, Xoán Cannas, who presented their views on what wine tourism is and what it contributes. Finally, the manager of Igape, José Manuel Fernández, presented the Re-action services for the improvement of the competitiveness of Galician SMEs and the doubts of the participants in the conference were resolved.
