The training starts so that the Galician tourist sector is accredited to work in the future Atlantic route WAOH!

The Consellería de Cultura y Turismo promoted during this week the celebration of a series of formative activities on the Route WAOH!, the itinerary in which Galicia is present next to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal centered in the tourism of the diving. The participants in this type of training actions are tourism personnel from local and geodestine administrations as well as professionals from companies specialising in activities such as diving, kayaking, boat trips, whale watching and marketing companies that receive this training with the aim of promoting coastal and marine ecotourism.

This action will also allow its participants to be trained as operators and guides of the WAOH! Route, an initiative that has the financial support of the European and Maritime Fisheries Fund (FEMP) of the European Union and is born to strengthen Europe as a sustainable destination that can connect first class diving sites establishing synergies with other nautical activities such as kayaking, whale watching and boat trips.
