The free training courses given by the Secretary of State for Tourism are back

  • The free trainings cover various topics linked to the sector that will begin on September 5th.

The “Tourism Hosts project”, promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, is framed within the “General Guidelines of Spain’s Sustainable Tourism Strategy 2030”. Specifically, in strategic axis 4, ‘Tourist space, companies and people’, the line of action ‘Promote a higher quality of tourism employment’, considers that tourism service providers are the key to the success of companies and tourist destinations.

 

According to the Secretary of State for Tourism, these courses were designed with the objective of “bringing professionals in the sector closer to the keys to the latest trends in tourism” and to that end they propose a flexible, online and free offer with more than 60 actions. training with topics such as the circular economy, sustainable tourism, cybersecurity, waste management or cost-saving strategies, among others.

 

The program is aimed at professionals from all subsectors involved in tourism activity: destination technicians, local development agents, staff of public organizations, destination managers, workers or tourism companies in accommodation, catering, travel agencies, tourist transportation, etc
