The grants, of two types, will cover 80% or 50% of the enrolment fee for the degree in Hospitality Business Management.
The deadline for applications is 9 September.
The Galicia Tourism Agency will once again facilitate student access to the Hotel Management School of Galicia (CSHG)through a scholarship programme that will allow beneficiaries to cover part of the enrolment costs. The call for applications for the next academic year 2022-23, approved at the end of last July and published in the Galicia Oficial Gazzete on Tuesday 9 August, establishes that a maximum of 21 scholarships may be awarded for the first year of the degree in Hospitality Business Management offered by the CSHG. Six of these scholarships will cover 80 % of the ordinary enrolment fee per degree, while the remaining 15 will cover 50 %.
The deadline for submitting applications is one month from 10 August. If the 21 scholarships are not used up, the remaining scholarships may be awarded to students from other courses. In order to distribute the scholarships, each applicant will be assessed on the basis of their family income and academic record.
In addition to the scholarships, there are other factors that allow students to save part or all of the tuition fees: in the case of victims of terrorism or gender violence, as well as for students with a disability equal to or greater than 33%, the exemption will be 100%. This total exemption will also apply to members of special large families, while for general large families it will be 50 %. Students with honours in the baccalaureate will not have to pay the first registration fee.
