The Galician Tourism Agency has published in the Official Gazette of Galicia the call for grants for tourism establishments and services for the certification, monitoring, and renewal processes of the UNE standards that allow them to obtain or maintain the Q for Tourism Quality mark and/or the S for Tourism Sustainability mark awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality and Sustainability (ICTES).
The objective of the call is to support tourism destinations and businesses in their commitment to improving quality and sustainability by facilitating the costs associated with external certification, its monitoring or renewal, as well as the rights to use the Q and S marks in 2025.
The application period will be open from September 13 to October 13, 2025, under procedure code TU970A. These grants are open to Galician city councils and their instrumental entities that manage public tourism services, as well as private individuals or legal entities that own tourist establishments or services.
The call for applications has a total allocation of €210,000, divided into €50,000 for city councils and €160,000 for private entities.

Costs derived from internal audits, membership fees, system implementation, personnel expenses, or recoverable taxes are excluded.
Applications may be submitted electronically until 11:59 p.m. on October 13, 2025. The deadline for submitting justification for the grants is November 28, 2025.
