Measures to stop the pandemic have prevented some 2,000 people from being able to use the voucher

The first vice president of the Xunta and head of Tourism, Alfonso Rueda, announced today, together with the director of the Galician Tourism Agency, Nava Castro, and the president of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, the extension of the voucher ” Galicia ”until May 31, 2021.
The “Quedamos en Galicia” voucher program is an initiative of the Xunta in collaboration with the Galician Tourism Cluster that aims to reactivate the sector in these times of great difficulties.
Alfonso Rueda also announced that the initiative will be renewed next year.
More than 18,000 people have already used the voucher and it is expected that with the extension of the term this figure could reach 20,000, the total planned.
