Marketing tourist destination is one of the biggest challenges that the Galician tourism sector faces, mainly due to the paradigm shift, globalization of markets, changes in consumer habits of tourists and the emergence of new technologies. That is why the Cluster Turismo Galicia has decided that the second edition of its Meetings Cluster Turismo Galicia are dedicated exclusively to this matter.

Under the heading “Objective 5 million: Challenges and Opportunities destination marketing and technology Galicia”, the conference will take place next March 17 at the Auditorium Mar de Vigo, in the olívica city. A meeting for which is closing an international program in which no shortage of consultants and leading experts in the field as Mady Keup, former head of Visit London and VisitBritain for Central and marketing manager of the latter for the markets of Spain and Portugal ; Raul Garcia, CEO of MICEtraining.com and Aprendedeturismo.org and former head of PromoMadrid; CEO Beonprice, Ruben Sanchez, whose company offers a big solution data to meet real-time rates hosting off and on line or sales manager for Spain ParityRate, Patricia Miralles, allowing us to delve into the operation of the channel manager as fundamental tools for understanding the hotel marketing online.

There will also be representatives of Segittur and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero, two essential for understanding the modernization of the Spanish hotel sector entities. Aimed at professionals in the tourism sector, whether hoteliers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs in rural tourism or MICE who want to deepen the marketing of tourism products and resources as a key factor in the modernization process of Galician tourism sector, the conference is organized with the Provincial de Pontevedra and Galicia and Tourism in collaboration with the Vigo Convention Bureau.

The meeting, whose registration period is already open, will also serve to analyze markets of interest to Galicia with the presence of representatives of the Tourist Offices of Spain in Germany, France and the United States, as well as the importance of using new technologies for improving the marketing of the tourism product, analyzing the technological tools that we have to improve tourism marketing, not forgetting the opportunities for networking among all participants.
