The Tourism Cluster, in collaboration with the Pontevedra Provincial Council and Turismo de Galicia, is launching the training program “Smart Tourism: AI Tools for Sector Transformation,” an initiative designed to bring the possibilities of artificial intelligence to the Galician tourism sector.
As a starting point, the program’s inaugural session will be held on November 12 at the Reveriano Soutullo Auditorium (Ponteareas), bringing together leading professionals and experts to analyze the opportunities that artificial intelligence offers in the tourism sector.
In an increasingly technological world, where advancements occur at a breakneck pace, it is essential that the Galician tourism sector has the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively integrate these innovations. In this context, artificial intelligence is positioned as a strategic resource to improve competitiveness, optimize processes, and offer more personalized experiences to visitors.
During the session, which will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the most relevant applications of AI in the sector will be addressed, from business management to customer loyalty, with the participation of speakers from organizations such as Deepsense, Cloud District, Neuromobile, the University of Santiago de Compostela, and Crowe, among others.
In addition to this opening session, the training program will include four practical sessions held between November and December, focusing on the real-world use of digital tools and artificial intelligence applied to tourism, in areas such as marketing, communication, and process automation.
Registration for the full training program, aimed at representatives of tourism companies in Galicia (maximum 20 places), will open in the coming days.
