Galicia shines with its own flavor: 60 Michelin Stars gather for a new edition of ‘Estrelas no Camiño’

  • This initiative is in its eleventh year and will be held at the Casa Barqueiro Estate in Negreira.

Haute cuisine once again marks a key stop on the Camino de Santiago. This June, Galicia will host the eleventh edition of ‘Estrelas no Camiño’, an event that will bring together some of the most renowned chefs on the national scene, earning a combined total of 60 Michelin Stars. A top-level gastronomic celebration centered on the Casa Barqueiro Estate in Gonte (Negreira).

The event is consolidating its position as an essential event that combines tradition, avant-garde, and a clear sense of solidarity. This edition, in addition to being a showcase for Galician culinary talent, will allocate the funds raised to two social organizations working in the field of mental health: the Saúde Mental A Creba Association and the Barcala Foundation.

The program highlights a previous experience, on June 1st, which will take place in the Muros-Noia estuary with an offering focused on seafood and local gastronomic heritage. The following day, June 2nd, the main event will take place with the participation of key figures in Galician cuisine such as Pepe Vieira, Yayo Daporta, and Áxel Smyth, among others. An event that promises to fuse the flavors of the land with the spirit of the Camino.

With high-quality offerings, a social focus, and the background of the Camino as a common thread, Estrelas no Camiño reaffirms itself as much more than a culinary event: it is a celebration of Galician talent, territory, and hospitality.
