The Tourism Cluster and ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ participate in the Direct Conferences in Benelux, organized by Turespaña

  • The conferences were held on October 8 and 9 in the Netherlands, and on October 10 in Belgium.
  • The Cluster participated with “Galicia Travel Agencies”, including up to 25 inbound agencies, with the catalog “Galicia, a luxury for the senses”, and with the tourism brand ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’.

The Galician Tourism Cluster and the tourism brand ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’, accompanied by the Galician tourism company Galiwonders, have just participated in the Direct Conferences to support the marketing of Spanish tourism in the Benelux markets, organized by Turespaña on the 8th, October 9 and 10 in the cities of Amersfoort, Breda (Netherlands) and Edegem (Belgium).

 

The event was held within the framework of TravDay, a networking meeting with a format similar to a fair attended by tour operators from the Netherlands and Belgium markets. Turespaña had its own space where the counters of the different Spanish representatives, who numbered up to twenty, were located.

 

There, the Cluster promoted the Galician tourism offer on the international map, and made a presentation to Benelux tour operators, promoting the catalogs of wholesale travel agencies for inbound and luxury tourism. ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ also participated with a representative of the technical office of the tourism brand, who brought the most sustainable Galicia closer to international markets, promoting the territory’s commitment to the sustainable development of tourism, as well as the companies affiliated to the club. of product.

 

The Direct Conferences organized by Turespaña are an opportunity to position our country as a quality, safe and sustainable tourist destination in the growing source markets. So far this year, the Cluster has participated in different international missions such as those organized for the Asian market (Seoul and Tokyo).
