The aid line for the improvement of infrastructure in tourist establishments in Galicia 2025 has been called

The Galician Tourism Agency has just launched the new call for aid for actions to improve the infrastructure of tourist accommodation and catering establishments (procedure code TU503A), aimed at promoting the modernization and improvement of the infrastructure of tourist accommodation and catering establishments in the community.

 

With this initiative, the aim is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Galician tourism sector through investments that improve accessibility, renovate facilities, implement energy efficiency systems and digitization, among other subsidized actions.

 

Which projects can qualify for the subsidy?

 

Those projects started from January 1, 2025 that include any of the following improvements will be able to benefit from this aid:

 

  1. Actions aimed at improving accessibility conditions and removing architectural barriers.
  2. Works aimed at improving the facilities with the aim of obtaining quality certifications, especially the Q for Tourist Quality.
  3. Actions aimed at adapting to the regulatory changes and improving the classification of the establishment that involve an increase in category.
  4. Renovation and modernization of the facilities and beautification of the surroundings of the facility.
  5. Mobile equipment necessary for operation.
  6. Actions to improve air conditioning that favor sustainability with the implementation of energy saving measures, as well as the installation or improvement of air extraction and renewal systems.
  7. Digitization of the establishment’s management and marketing systems. The investment in equipment and mobile telephony may not exceed 5% of the total project budget or the justified amount.
  8. Adaptation of safety and health systems in the provision of services.

 

The net investment allowed for each project can reach up to 100,000 euros, with a subsidy that covers up to 60% of the total budget, with a maximum of 60,000 euros per beneficiary. Applications will be open from February 12 at 00:00 until March 11 at 23:59.
