Barcelona will become the world capital of event tourism for another year, thanks to the celebration of IBTM World, one of the events marked on the MICE tourism calendar. From November 28 to 30, the Catalan capital celebrates a new edition of the international fair, which serves as a meeting point for representatives of the conference, meeting and incentive industry.

The activities will take place at the Fira Barcelona facilities, bringing together more than 3,000 quality destinations and suppliers, ready to establish contacts with more than 15,000 industry professionals from more than 100 countries around the world. The Galician tourism sector will be represented at this event through the Turespaña space, which will host, among other proposals, those of Turismo de Galicia and Galicia MICE.

The program of this IBTM World includes three full days of activities, discussion tables, workshops and training sessions with diverse topics: from social responsibility to innovation, careers, experiences and marketing. MICE tourism professionals will take part in an event that will feature more than 1,500 exhibitors and 2,650 hosted buyers. The organizers estimate that more than 100,000 business meetings will be held during the event, allowing exhibitors and buyers to establish a face-to-face connection.
