Galicia was once again represented at the Rimini tourism fair

The Cluster and seven companies travelled to Italy with Galicia Tourism to participate in TTG Travel Experience.

Once again, Galicia was represented at the international tourism fair TTG Travel Experience, which was held last week in the Italian city of Rimini. The Galicia Tourism Cluster with its president, Cesáreo Pardal, and its vice-president, Jesús Picallo, headed the Galician delegation that travelled to the transalpine country with the support of the Galicia Tourism Agency and with the participation of seven companies from the tourism sector: Tee Travel, Galicia Villas, Oca Hotels, Grupo Gescaho, ArtNatura, Pazo Los Escudos and Vio Viajes.

There they have been able to take part in an event that has had 2,200 exhibiting brands and a thousand foreign buyers (58% from Europe and 42% from the rest of the world), and which has hosted more than 200 activities. Its promoters emphasise that the events held at the IEG exhibition centre brought together and showed the market the best of Italian tourism, with its 20 regions, and more than 50 foreign destinations, including Galicia, confirming the role of the Rimini fair as the benchmark exhibition for the Italian outbound market.

The fair closed with a 25% increase in the number of professional visitors compared to 2021. This figure confirms, according to its promoters, that “trade professionals are once again creating value, in line with the new expectations of travellers, both in the leisure and business sectors” and that “travel is an asset in which people invest, because it generates cultural wealth, physical well-being and personal growth and does so immediately and without restrictions”.
