Galician Tourism Activates Grants to Compensate for Losses Due to Cancellations at Establishments Affected by Fires

  • The non-competitive call for proposals will cover losses in revenue between July 28 and August 31, 2025.

The Galician Tourism Agency has recently activated a new line of grants to compensate for losses caused by cancellations of reservations at tourist accommodation establishments affected by the forest fires of the summer of 2025. This grant is processed under procedure code TU100C and is awarded on a non-competitive basis.

The main objective is to compensate for the economic impact suffered by hotels, rural houses, tourist apartments, campsites, and hostels located in municipalities that were in Situation 2 of the Galician Forest Fire Emergency Plan (PEIFOGA). Companies that demonstrate losses in revenue between July 28 and August 31, 2025, resulting from confirmed cancellations during that period, will be eligible.

  • Application and processing period

The application period will be open from 8:00 a.m. on October 24th until 11:59 p.m. on November 24th, 2025. Applications must be submitted online through the Xunta de Galicia’s website, by entering the procedure code TU100C in the search engine.

These grants are part of the package of measures promoted by the Xunta de Galicia to reactivate the tourism sector and support businesses affected by the fires, along with promotional programs and incentives for demand in affected destinations.
