From June 5 to 8, the ABANCA Galicia International Fairgrounds in Silleda (Pontevedra) will once again host two of the most important events on the Galician tourism calendar: Turexpo Galicia and Festur. Both events will be held simultaneously with the 47th edition of Galician Green Week, a multi-sector event that in 2024 brought together more than 84,000 visitors, consolidating this event as one of the most important in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
In its 14th edition, Turexpo Galicia returns with a revamped program that seeks to continue boosting tourism in the region, while Festur, in its 11th edition, will highlight the cultural and economic importance of Galician festivals of tourist interest, which attract thousands of visitors to towns and cities throughout the region each year.
One of the main attractions will once again be the Tourism Contracting Exchange, a key space for professional meetings that broke records in its previous edition: 2,300 B2B meetings with 33 tour operators from 11 countries. This year, the organization is working to expand its international and national presence, thus reinforcing Galicia’s position as a strategic destination in tourism markets.
The joint celebration with Festur adds a distinctive element, highlighting Galicia’s cultural diversity and festive richness, key elements of its tourist appeal. Festivals of tourist interest, along with the natural heritage, gastronomy, and hospitality of its people, consolidate Galicia as an increasingly valued destination for national and international visitors.
As every year, the Galician Tourism Cluster will be present with its own stand in the Galician Tourism space, where it will promote Galician tourism and tourism brands such as “Galicia, a Sustainable Destination.”
