A kinf of magic (Pub Atlántico) and Expreso Martini (A Carrilana) won the cocktail contest, Santiago(é)Cóctel

The twelfth edition of the Santiago(é)Tapas tapas competition and the first edition of the Santiago(é)Cóctel concluded with the presentation of their prizes after fifteen days in which more than 30,000 tapas and 2,000 cocktails were distributed. In canto to votes of the public, 20.000 valid were counted that gave as winner to the creation of the house two Xacobes, Manitas Crocantes, that will represent Santiago in the contest ‘De tapas por Galicia’, organized by Turismo de Santiago, since it was the proposal that obtained more score between the votes of the public and of the professional jury.

Of the total of 109 tapas presented, Manitas Crocantes was the winning tapa in the traditional tapa category while in the creative tapa category the first prize went to Criollo marino, by O Ferro. The rest of the prizes were distributed among the proposals of A Viaxe, Lume, Artesana and Xuntanza. The chefs of the ten premises that participated in the final of the contest also received as a gift the official delanta of the XII Santiago(é)Tapas. Finally, the prizes in the cocktail competition were, in the classic cocktail category, for Expreso Martini de A Carrilana and in the creative cocktail category, for A kind of magic, from the Atlantic Pub, which won the first prizes among the 25 cocktails in the contest.
