ASNAUGA represented Galician nautical sports at the International Paris Boat Show, which was held in the French capital from 7 to 11 December, where representatives of Asnauga attended the Paris Boat Show to promote Galician nautical sport and tourism. During these days Ramón Acuña, member of the board of Asnauga, accompanied by the Director of Tourism of Galicia Nava Castro and the president of Portos de Galicia Susana Lenguas, as well as other representatives of Asnauga, held more than 12 meetings with the media, charter companies and French nautical associations to present the range of sports and port facilities of this entity and Galicia in general at the stand that Turismo de Galicia and Portos de Galicia set up at this fair.

It should be noted that the marinas of Galicia received last year more than 10,000 recreational boats, according to data provided by the Xunta. France is the sixth country of which more recreational boats come to the autonomous community, only behind Portugal, Germany, United States, Italy and the United Kingdom. The 73,000 travelers from France who docked their boats at Galician marinas spent a total of 121,000 nights.

The Paris International Boat Show is the most important nautical event held in France and one of the great references of sport and nautical tourism in the world, and marks the beginning of the season of nautical tourist activities. In the last edition, the event had more than 206,000 visitors, based on an area of more than 300,000 square meters. Similarly, more than 800 exhibitors participated in this event in 2018. During the course of the fair takes place a rich program of conferences, given by experts in the marine industry or representatives of tourist offices and related entities.
