Galicia Parabéns

Local councils, groups of local councils, associations and local Galician consortiums that meet the requirements can apply for the third edition of the Galicia Parabéns Awards, convened by Turismo de Galicia to recognize municipal actions that stand out for preserving, improving and beautifying the landscapes, population centers and the Roads of Santiago.

With a global investment of 800,000 euros for 2019 and 2020, the Xunta de Galicia thus rewards actions aimed at improving landscapes, population centers and the Roads of Santiago within the territory of the Autonomous Community. The prizes are divided into two categories: the first distinguishes the projects or actions carried out in the last ten years to achieve an improvement of the landscape with an ideal integration of architectural elements or with aesthetic improvement of population centers, among others. Also included in this category are initiatives or embellishment actions carried out on the adjacent routes of the Roads of Santiago. The second category awards the best projects aimed at carrying out revaluation works both to promote an improvement in the landscape and for interventions in the population centres or on the borders of the Xacobean Route.

A prize of 400,000 euros will be awarded in each of the categories. The deadline for submitting applications will be two months from the day after its publication in the DOG, where those interested in attending these awards can also consult the terms of the call and the precise documentation to submit.
