Galicia Destino Familiar

In its commitment to promote measures that facilitate the choice of Galicia as an ideal holiday destination for families, the Galician Tourism Cluster, through its Galicia Family Destination seal, has launched an ambitious initiative designed for families that opens the door for children to travel for free and enjoy discounts in all areas of travel, from accommodation to restaurants, including other activities and services at destination.

In force from 22 October to 30 December 2019, this promotion will allow children to stay free, one child for every two adults, on equal terms and dates of enjoyment of the places, except in the case of single-parent families, where it would apply for each adult. An offer that will exceed 50,000 places for free children from which to choose accommodation throughout Galicia.

In addition, this project raises the possibility of improving this experience by offering more free or percentages of discount for children in breakfasts, half pensions, full pensions or even second, third and successive children. In the case of restaurants, for every two ‘special’ menus, you can enjoy a free children’s menu, and the same will happen with other activities such as excursions, where there will be a free place for children in the house for every two adults on equal terms.
