The action has the collaboration of the Cluster of Tourism of Galicia

 Travel agencies in Spain and Portugal will know in Termatalia the offer in Galicia thermal tourism thanks to different actions of familiarization with this product, both in the fair, as well as through visits to areas and centers thermal baths of this community. The aim is for these professionals, who are in contact with the end user, to know in more detail the services, facilities and treatments of Galician spas and that this facilitates the commercialization of these “thermal packages”. In addition, they will have the opportunity to know the tourism of health associated to other tourist attractions like the enogastronomy.
This promotion action of Destino Galicia between the Retail Channel arises from a project presented to the Ideas Competition of the Cluster Turismo Galicia by Balnearios de Galicia in collaboration with Expourense and is funded by the Axencia de Turismo de Galicia. The project also includes the development of innovative tourist packages in the Spa of Galicia that will be presented to wholesalers and retailers of trips in Termatalia.
The familiarization trip will start at Termatalia, the International Thermal Tourism, Health and Wellness Fair that is celebrated in Ourense on 21 and 22 September. At the fair they will receive training on the commercialization of the thermal product and will have B2B meetings with tourist companies of Galicia, both spas and wholesalers. As part of the action, the participating agencies, which belong to tourism markets that are close to Galicia (different Spanish communities and northern Portugal), will also visit the city of Ourense and the Ribeira Sacra, one of the most enogastronomic and natural destinations important in Galicia, where you can experience the stay in a thermal center, while visiting a winery or catamaran sailing.
The goal is for these agencies to know the product first hand to contribute to the marketing of the destination. The Concello de Ourense, the Diputación de Lugo and Turismo de la Ribeira Sacra collaborate to present this attractive program.
