The Costa da Morte Tourist Association (CMAT) did not miss its meeting in Fitur, where they presented the CMAT experiences of active tourism and cultural heritage. The president of the entity, Juan Blanco, explained that “one of the objectives of the CMAT is to structure the tourist offer of the Costa da Morte”, highlighting especially the “sensory heritage” in which the traveler can enjoy an intrepid tourism and without additives with activities in all the means “water, sea and air”, through sports practices such as horse riding, motor routes, btt, rappel, canyering, flight without the use of the sea.

In the same fairgrounds, Camiño dos Faros received the award of the magazine Oxygen for the best adventure trip in 2017, which is a further endorsement of the excellent work done by the windmills and the possibilities of the impressive hiking route along the coast between Malpica and Fisterra. Finally, the association Muxía Turismo Rural presented at the Casa de Galicia its proposal “Rural Muxía. Ornithological destination “, while the Ruta de los Faros was also the subject of a presentation at the stand in Galicia.

Lugo for sale in Fitur

The province of Lugo was also present at the first national tourism event, where it brought its new strategies and promotional campaigns, both provincial and municipal. Thus, the Provincial Council of Lugo opted for the meteorologist Martín Barreiro as its promotional image. Under the slogan’ Lugo Cambia’ and through a series of videos in several languages, the province is offered “as a whole” to potential visitors, so that the videos presented at Fitur are, in reality, the first initiatives that have seen the light of day in 2018. The spots that were presented this Thursday in Fitur can already be found on the platform www.deputacionlugo.gal, in a specific section dedicated to tourism.

For its part, Lugo’s council did not miss his appointment at the stand in Galicia, where he approached his current campaign’ Ven, é Lugo’, which presents the capital of Lugo as a city of “sensations”, a “destination” to appreciate with all “the senses” and that can be enjoyed throughout the year. There were also presentations of the Mariña Lucense and the Ribeira Sacra, which brought to Madrid their tourist proposals for this 2018 focused on nature and its multiple possibilities of active enjoyment, both through hiking, balloon trips, wine tourism, etc…
