Clúster Turismo de Galicia

Both entities signed a protocol of collaboration that will result in the joint promotion of Galician music and tourism.

With the aim of contributing to the dissemination of traditional and folk music in Galicia, the Galician Tourism Cluster has just signed a collaboration agreement with the Sondeseu Foundation by which both entities join forces to promote activities that result in the promotion of the tourism sector and Galician music.

The signing of this new collaboration, which will allow for closer ties between Galician culture and tourism, took place in Vigo in an event attended by representatives of both parties: Xaquín Xesteira as president of the Sondeseu Foundation and Cesáreo Pardal as president of the Galician Tourism Cluster. The latter was very pleased to be able to count on the collaboration of this foundation for the next actions that the Cluster plans to carry out in the coming years.

“The signing of this protocol will allow us to join efforts for the joint promotion of Galicia as a destination, especially in view of the fairs, missions and workshops that we carry out outside our territory”, explained Cesáreo Pardal. The president of the Sondeseu Foundation, for his part, also stressed the importance of working together with the entity that represents the Galician tourism sector in actions that can be beneficial to both entities, taking advantage of the positive effect and recognition enjoyed by folk and traditional Galician music outside our borders.

By virtue of the protocol signed this morning and which has an initial duration of two years, the Sondeseu Foundation will assume the musical performances in those events organized by the Cluster in which its cooperation is requested.
