The president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, participated in the presentation of diplomas of the Integral System of Spanish Tourism Quality in Destination held in Santa Comba.
The distinctions reward the commitment to quality and sustainable tourism of several hotels, spas and restaurants located in a dozen municipalities.
The commitment to quality is rewarded. This has just been confirmed by the fifteen establishments located in the area of action of the Terras de Compostela Rural Development Group, which received the diplomas accrediting their adherence to the Integral System of Spanish Tourism Quality at Destination (Sicted).
The event, held in the surroundings of the Castriz waterfall (Santa Comba), brought together the heads of the restaurants, spas and hotels of a dozen municipalities of the RDG recognised with the diplomas and various authorities and representatives of the sector, such as the director of Galicia Tourism, Nava Castro; the mayoress of Santa Comba, María Pose; the vice-president of the Galician Agency for Rural Development (Agader), Moisés Blanco; the president of the RDG Terras de Compostela, Guarina Rey, and the president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal. All of them stressed the importance of the commitment to quality and sustainability as a pillar of the future of the sector and congratulated the establishments distinguished by the Sicted. In addition, the attendees were able to enjoy the landscapes and attractions of the area by taking part in a walk prior to the presentation of the diplomas.
The recipients of these new Sicted diplomas are Apartamentos A Carballeira do Tambre y Pazo de Cores (A Baña); Casa Abelleira y Hotel Payro (Ames); Restaurante O Balado (Boqueixón), Hotel Balneario de Compostela y Balneario Compostela (Brión); Restaurante Casa Barqueiro (Negreira), Casa do Ghabino, Talladas Gastrobar y Hotel Xallas (Santa Comba), Moradas no Ulla (Teo), Casa Paramos (Val do Dubra), y Pazo de Vista Alegre y Pazo Cibrán (Vedra).
