Galician hotels increase their revenue in August, reaching €84.3 million

  • The 4.3% increase compared to last year is the highest figure in the historical series.

 

Data published by the INE (National Institute of Statistics) show that Galician hotels and guesthouses earned more than €84.7 million this past August.

 

And in cumulative terms, from January to August 2025, revenue amounted to almost €313 million, representing a 5.6% increase compared to 2024.

 

These figures will be further improved when the revenue from other accommodation establishments (rural houses, hostels, campsites, etc.) is added.

 

Thus, Galicia ranks as the seventh autonomous community in the region. AA most visited by national residents in the second quarter, behind Andalusia (16.9% of the total), Catalonia (14.7%), Valencian Community (10.3%), Castilla y León (8.3%), Madrid (6.9%) and Castilla-La Mancha (6.1%).
