Tourist establishments can request aid to improve infrastructure until March 11

  • They are aimed at promoting the modernization and improvement of the infrastructure of tourist accommodation and restaurant establishments.

 

The call for aid for the modernization and improvement of infrastructure in tourist accommodation and restaurant establishments remains open. This line of subsidies, framed in the TU503A procedure, seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector through investments that optimize accessibility, energy efficiency, digitalization and quality of facilities.

 

Interested businesses may submit their application until March 11 at 11:59 p.m., as long as the eligible projects have been started on or after January 1, 2025.

 

What improvements are eligible for the subsidy? Fundable actions include:

 

  1. Actions aimed at improving accessibility conditions and removing architectural barriers.
  2. Works aimed at improving facilities with the aim of obtaining quality certifications, especially the Q for Tourist Quality.
  3. Actions aimed at adapting to regulatory modifications and improving the classification of the establishment that entails an increase in category.
  4. Renovation and modernization actions of the facilities and beautification of the facility’s outline.
  5. Furniture equipment necessary for operation.
  6. Actions to improve air conditioning that promote sustainability with the implementation of energy saving measures, as well as the installation or improvement of air extraction and renewal systems.
  7. Digitalization actions of the establishment’s management and marketing systems. The investment in equipment and mobile telephony may not exceed 5% of the total project budget or the justified amount.
  8. Adaptation of health and safety systems in the provision of services.

 

The net investment admitted for each project can reach up to 100,000 euros, with a subsidy that charges up to 60% of the total budget, with a maximum of 60,000 euros per beneficiary.
