The Xunta will allocate more than 2.8 million euros to help rehabilitate housing and residential buildings in the integral rehabilitation area of ways in Santiago. This is established by the resolution of the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG), which regulates and calls for these subsidies. The beneficiaries may be the owner’s associations, the groupings of owners’ associations and natural persons who are sole owners of buildings or dwellings that are located within the area of the roads, in possession of the corresponding resolution of definitive qualification granted by the Consellería de Vivenda.
The works must be definitively completed and qualified before the deadline for submitting applications for grants (31 October). The delimitation of the rehabilitation area includes the layout of the seven routes of the Way in Galicia: French (from Pedrafita do Cebreiro to Santiago), silver (from A Mezquita or Verín to Ourense and from Ourense to Santiago), English (from Ferrol or A Coruña, joining in Mesía to Santiago), primitive (from A Fonsagrada to Melide that connects with the French road), north (from Ribadeo to Arzúa that connects with the French road), the Fisterra-Muxía section and the Portuguese section, from Tui to Santiago.
