The Pazo Quinteiro da Cruz is hosting the 1st Camelia International Day on March 25 and 26, an initiative that, under the motto “Come and eat the camellia with Iñaki Bretal in the stoves of Quinteiro da Cruz”, will develop up to 5 experiences in Which will merge the camellia, wine route and gastronomy through the gardens and vineyards of Quinteiro da Cruz with the experience of the cook of the Nove Group, Iñaki Bretal, in Eirado da Leña.
The place for the celebration of this day will be the Botanic Garden of the Pazo Quinteiro da Cruz, in the Salnés, botanical prize 2014, by the Society of Friends of the Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid, with more than 600 species of trees and shrubs of the 5 Continents and one of the world’s largest collections of camellias: more than 5,000 trees of about 2,000 different varieties of more than 72 species.

With the camellia as an experiential axis, the participants will be able to enjoy all the senses during this first day, through a tasting menu, cooking workshops in the facilities of Quintero da Cruz, where you can taste the dishes that are elaborated in the Workshop, lectures on knowledge and cultivation of the camellia or camellia as an element of tourist destination. There will also be other complementary activities such as photography, calligraphy and painting workshops for children and wellness therapies.
