From today until 26 May, it is taking part, together with five Galician companies, in a roadshow organised by Turespaña, which will visit Rome, Catania, Bologna and Milan.
As part of the campaign to internationalise Galicia as a destination, the Galicia Tourism Cluster is taking part this week in the Roadshow in Italy organised by Turespaña. Opening new business opportunities and increasing the visibility of Galicia as a tourist destination are the objectives of the Cluster, Galicia Tourism and the five companies of the Galician delegation participating in this initiative: ArtNatura Galicia, Circuitos Galicia, Galiwonders, Interrías and Tee Travel.
The RoadShow starts today in Rome and will continue to Catania, Bologna and Milan. In each of these cities, the 50 Spanish companies taking part in the initiative will be able to showcase their cultural, gastronomic and premium tourism products and services to Italian buyers.
In addition to the five Galician companies that will be present at the different workshops, another 19 travel agencies will also be present at the meeting thanks to a catalogue prepared by the Galicia Tourism Cluster that summarises their main services.
The aim of these workshops is to reactivate and increase the marketing of Spanish tourism in one of the main European outbound markets before the pandemic and to position itself as a quality, safe and sustainable tourist destination.
Commitment to internationalisation
The Galician tourism sector is once again taking up its objectives to increase its competitiveness and to continue its commitment to internationalisation. This is one of the 15 internationalisation actions already closed for 2022, either promoted by the Cluster or in collaboration with public administrations, in 8 different countries in which at least 120 companies will participate. These actions open the door to the establishment of new links with other territories and new business opportunities.
