The participants in the Press Trip programmed by the Cluster enjoyed a selection of accommodation, restaurants and complementary offers.
Representatives of national specialised media, as well as Portuguese websites and media, enjoyed this experience.
With the proposal of the Galicia Destino Sostible Product Club as a main attraction and the many and varied attractions of our land as a backdrop, the Cluster developed in recent days a Press Trip to present the content of this initiative to a group of journalists from national media, web spaces and representatives of the Portuguese press.
Between Thursday 10th and Saturday 12th, the participants toured part of Galicia, discovering some of the most outstanding natural and scenic areas of the region and allowing themselves to be conquered by the range of accommodation, restaurants and complementary proposals that the Galician tourism sector offers to all those who visit us.
Viajablog, Traveler, Tiempo.es Un Mundo Alrededor, Revista Renfe, Gente Viajera Onda Cero, Tusdestinos, National Geographic Viajes, Revista Otros Destino, Diario do Minho and Minha magazine were the media represented on this Press Trip, the first stop of which was in A Coruña to cycle along the seafront promenade on an electric bicycle. Afterwards, the participants had time to visit other emblematic places such as the town of Malpica, where they attended the fish auction at the fish market; the Ribeira Sacra, to enjoy its landscapes, heritage and wine culture, and the Rías Baixas, whose waters they crossed by boat to get a closer look at the world of fishing and shellfishing.
Curricán restaurant, hotel spa A Quinta da Auga, Regina Viarum Winery, Ecomuseo Pazo de Arxeriz, Parador de Monforte de Lemos, Quinta Sacra, Bluscus and the restaurant Pepe Vieira are some of the companies that have represented the Galician tourist offer and Galicia Destino Sostible during these three days that have been framed in the programme of promotional actions of the new product club launched by the Cluster with the support of the Xunta de Galicia and that in little more than four months of life already exceeds fifty members.
The participants, who had the opportunity to chat with the president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, the rest of the members of the evaluation committee of the Product Club, and the director of the Galician Tourism Agency, Nava Castro, expressed their satisfaction with the experience and the authenticity of the experiences and activities carried out. They also described the creation of the Product Club as a success.
