Eleven companies associated with the Cluster are taking part in the professional section of the fair to be held in Valladolid from 18 to 21 November.
Intur, the International Inland Tourism Fair, returns after last year’s forced stoppage due to covid to celebrate its 24th edition and turn Valladolid into the main focus of attention for the tourism sector for a few days. The Galicia Tourism Cluster will be there once again, together with Galicia Tourims and several of its member companies, to showcase the great attractions of this land and some of the products designed to promote them.
The events scheduled at the Valladolid Fairgrounds begin this Thursday, the 18th, with the day dedicated to professionals, Intur Negocios, in which the sectors of travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation, destinations, experiences, MICE, food and wine, health tourism and transport, among others, will be represented. Around 60 tour operators and 200 companies are expected to take part, which will be able to present their products and proposals to international buyers from Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Argentina, Mexico, South Korea, Russia, the United States and France. The latter country will play a prominent role as the department of La Vienne is the guest international destination at this new edition of Intur. Eleven companies associated with the Cluster will take part in the Intur Negocios recruitment exchange: Melia María Pita, Tryp Santiago and Tryp Galeones; Casa Rural Camino Real, Pazo de Brandeso, Vio Viajes, Alda Hotels, Comercial Naviera Nabia, Easy Galicia, Hotel Avenida, Hotel Plaza, Art Nature and Casa de Labranza A Rega.
From Friday 19th to Sunday 21st, the section of the fair open to the general public will be held, which with a new format under the name of Intur Travelers brings together the information activities, presentations and tastings, and the rest of the proposals that exhibitors will develop to publicise a thousand different destinations. The specific programme of Intur Rural will also take place during these days, the space focused on rural tourism in which Galicia Tourism will be present with a stand in which the Galicia Tourism Cluster collaborates as a co-exhibitor.
Intur’s programme of activities also includes the celebration of the National Cooking and Confectionery Championship and the announcement of the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2022 award, created in 2021 to distinguish the contribution of a city or region to gastronomy as a dynamic element of the tourist destination.
