The Galicia Tourism Cluster and representatives of companies such as Casa de Cacheiro took part in the event presided over by Alfonso Rueda.

It has been a quarter of a century since the launch of Galicia Calidade, the brand promoted by the Xunta de Galicia to distinguish those products and services produced, designed or provided in Galicia that meet the highest quality standards. And to celebrate these 25 years of life, representatives of the Administration, of the 150 companies that have joined the brand and other social and economic actors met on Wednesday 14th in the City of Culture to participate in a commemorative event chaired by the head of the regional government, Alfonso Rueda.

The tourism sector, very present in Galicia Calidade through more than thirty accommodation and restaurants, also participated in this celebration: the president and vice-president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal and Jesús Picallo, as well as the former head of this entity, Francisco González, and Ana and Mabel Vidal, responsible for Casa de Cacheiro, an establishment that has the Galicia Calidade seal, as well as the Q for Tourism Quality and that is also part of the Galicia Destino Sostible Product Club promoted by the Clúster with the collaboration of the Xunta. All of them had the opportunity to enjoy the gala and exchange impressions with the president of the Xunta as well as with personalities who have played a key role in these 25 years of Galicia Calidade, as the one who was its manager for a decade, Alfonso Cabaleiro.

The Regional Ministers of Rural Affairs and the Sea, José González and Rosa Quintana, respectively, also took part in this celebration in which Alfonso Rueda thanked the work of all those who have contributed to Galicia and Quality being united forever. “Twenty-five years later, this brand continues to represent the desire to be excellent and continue to succeed,” said the president of the Xunta.
