The Ministry of Industry and Tourism allocates more than one million euros to promote ten innovative tourist experiences in Galicia

  • 14 companies and entities from Galicia participate in the projects along with other partners from the rest of the territory.

Pedro Blanco, Government delegate in Galicia, has announced that the Ministry of Industry and Tourism will support the development of ten tourism projects in Galicia with more than one million euros from the Recovery Plan. These initiatives range from mining and wine tourism to industrial fishing heritage, and seek to improve the region’s tourism offer, attracting new visitor profiles and promoting tourism throughout the year.

 

The Galician projects, which involve 14 local companies and entities, are part of the ‘Spain Tourism Experiences’ program, a national initiative that will distribute 19.7 million euros among 41 projects. Among the selected experiences are:

 

  • Spain through its wineries: Project that includes Galician wineries such as Terras Gauda, ​​Adegas y Viñedos Vía Romana, and Gargalo.
  • Beaches without limits: Focused on accessibility, with the participation of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra.
  • Coal Mining-Industrial Tourism: Project led by the CIUDEN Foundation, which includes the As Pontes City Council.
  • Green Diving, passion for the oceans and seas: Promotes sustainable diving, with the participation of the Coruña company NaugaSub SL.
  • Turimvi-Inland Spain: Includes the Galician firm Bold Digital Comms SL and focuses on inland tourism.
  • Creation of Tourism Experience in Spanish Reservoirs: The Provincial Council of Lugo participates in a project that promotes tourism in reservoirs.
  • Spanish Cider Routes: Project in which the Maceira and Cider Association of A Estrada participates.
  • Spanish Wine Routes: 360 Experiences: With the participation of the Rías Baixas Wine Route Association.
  • Spain Culinary Villages: The Viveiro City Council is part of this gastronomic project.
  • Fishing Industrial Heritage Accessible Route: Project with notable Galician participation, including Viajes Fisterra SLU, the Amicos Association, and the Foundation for Fishing and Shellfishing-Fundamar.

 

These projects will not only contribute to diversifying Galicia’s tourism offering, but will also promote environmental sustainability and innovation in the sector, benefiting the four Galician provinces.
