The next edition of the Galicia Fórum Gastronómico will be held from April 7 to 9 at EXPOCoruña. This event, whose first edition in Galicia dates back to 2008, is the largest professional gastronomic event in the North of Spain. It is an essential meeting point for food service professionals in the northwest of the peninsula.
In its ninth edition, the forum will have more than 200 exhibitors and will once again serve as a space for the transmission of knowledge, training, reflection on the future of the sector, and commitment to good practices. The central theme will be the Atlantic pantry with the Celtic Pork as the protagonist, in addition to hunting and cooking using seawater.
During the three days, various activities will take place, from live gastronomy shows to cooking sessions with tasting. The ForumLab will function as a space for reflection where ideas are cooked, giving rise to round tables and debates on current issues in the sector. Other notable spaces are that of liquid gastronomy, where the Wine Circus and the Cocktail Bar Forum will take place; the Agora, a place for exhibitors and product promotion; Cook Trends, a space dedicated to catering for visitors to the event; and the Craft Beer Market, a place dedicated exclusively to craft beers. Within the Forum, the pulperas contest, the Picadillo Awards, and the presentation of the prestigious 2024 Galician Chef Award will also take place.
In addition, this 2024 the Gastronomic Forum brings new features such as the I Galician Empanada Competition or the Cheese Forum, a networking and learning space in which producers from the Atlantic arc will meet and where they will be able to present their cheeses, ideas and projects.
