Ecotourism will star in the V edition of BioCultura

  • The fair will be held from March 1 to 3 at the EXPOCoruña venue.
  • The Galicia Sustainable Destino brand will have its own stand, promoting the region’s sustainable tourism offer.

The V edition of BioCultura is here, and will be held from March 1 to 3. EXPOCoruña will repeat another edition with three days of activities and exhibitions of ecological products and experiences, demonstrating that other forms of consumption are possible to guarantee a sustainable future.

 

The fair will have up to 150 exhibitors and a hundred talks and complementary activities. Organic food, eco-natural cosmetics, sustainable textiles and a lot of ecotourism will have a place at the event. So much so, that ecotourism will be one of the main protagonists of the event: “We pay close attention to the phenomenon of ecotourism, which does not stop growing. There are more and more people who want to travel to really get to know the destination and enjoy in different formats. that do not distort nature, but rather have a positive impact on it,” declares the director of the fair, Ángeles Parra.

 

The tourist offer of different places in Galicia will be represented through institutions such as the Mariñas Coruñesas and Terras del Mandeo Biosphere Reserve, the Os Ancares Lucenses Reserve, the Spanish Wine Tourism Club, the Galicia Tourism Cluster, the Provincial Councils of A Coruña, Lugo and Ourense, and the Regulatory Council for Organic Agriculture of Galicia (CRAEGA). In addition to this, a large number of ecological companies from Galicia and the rest of Spain will also participate. Among the Galician companies are companies such as Bubela Artesá, Orballo, Porto Muiños, Daiquí SGC, Abella Meiga, Traloagro, Tradeza Natur, Muuhlloa or Casa Grande de Xanceda.

 

The Galicia Tourism Cluster will participate in the event through a stand of the Galicia Destino Sostenible brand, through which the work being done in terms of sustainability will be promoted, and with which the sustainable tourism offer of the region will be promoted. In addition to this, the president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, will attend the opening of the event, which will take place on Friday, March 1, starting at 11:00 am.
