The Cluster is already preparing its commercial mission to ITB Berlin

The next edition of the international tourism fair in the German capital will be held on 7, 8 and 9 March.

 

The deadline to join the delegation organised by the Cluster will be open until 15 February.

 

The main players in the international tourism sector will meet again in Germany next March to take part in ITB Berlin, one of the most important events on the world trade fair calendar, which has been held since 1966, but which has been affected by the pandemic for the last two years and has had to change its format. Its organisers opted for a virtual fair in 2021 and, last year, for a hybrid version that included a virtual day in which the Galicia Tourism Cluster promoted the participation of a dozen Galician companies.

 

Now that pre-pandemic normality has almost completely recovered, this year’s edition of ITB Berlin will be held in the traditional on-site format between 7 and 9 March and Galicia will once again be represented by the Galicia Tourism Cluster through a trade mission in which around twenty representatives from our sector will be able to take part.

 

The delegation led by the Cluster will leave Vigo on 6 March and will return on 9 March. A maximum of 22 participants will be able to take part and the deadline for registration will be open until 15 February. Those interested in joining this trade mission should send an e-mail to secretariatecnica@clusterturismogalicia.com requesting their registration and including their personal details (name, surname, ID number, company they belong to, contact details and invoicing) and attaching proof of payment of 700 euros for “Internationalisation Services at ITB Berlin 2023”. Participation is open to representatives of the following sectors and in this order of priority: marketing and distribution, accommodation and complementary offer, and other entities.

 

A networking dinner will be organised as part of the trade mission. In addition, ITB Berlin will feature a speed networking event, for which an additional registration is required in advance to secure a place.
