The Galicia Tourism Cluster is participating this week in Fairway 2025, the trade fair specializing in the Camino de Santiago, held at the City of Culture in Santiago de Compostela from November 9 to 11. The event, established as the leading professional meeting point for the Camino de Santiago phenomenon, brings together national and international companies, institutions, and tourism professionals.
The Cluster’s Vice President, Jesús Picallo, attended the official opening of the fair, an event also attended by the Director of Tourism of Galicia, Xosé Manuel Merelles, and other regional and local authorities.
In this edition, the Galicia Tourism Cluster, with its “Galicia Sustainable Destination” brand, has its own stand within the fairgrounds, where it is showcasing initiatives that promote sustainable tourism in the region, as well as the more than 150 companies affiliated with the product club.
In addition, the Cluster has encouraged its members to participate in the professional workshop held during the fair, a space for making new contacts and creating synergies with national and international tour operators.
Furthermore, Fairway 2025 includes, in addition to its exhibition area and the B2B workshop, the 6th Camino de Santiago Forum, which brings together experts, institutions, and representatives from the sector to discuss professionalization, sustainability, and tourism management related to the Camino.
