Two new companies join the Galicia Family Destino project

  • Gran Hotel los Abetos and Hotel Ria Mar are the two new additions that are part of Galicia Destino Familiar.
  • This project currently has more than 50 member companies, and is still open to receiving new members.

The initiative, promoted by the Galicia Tourism Cluster, aims to establish strategies that promote Galicia’s position as a reference destination for family tourism. This is achieved through a joint collaboration of establishments specialized in the family segment, so that the target audience can easily identify hotels, restaurants, rural tourism houses, among others, that offer facilities, activities and services adapted especially for families. Its specific objectives are: to consolidate the image of Galicia as the preferred destination for family tourism, to develop a project that involves all components of the tourism value chain, to promote the loyalty of tourists who travel as a family, to promote initiatives to reduce seasonality in the tourism sector and facilitate collaboration between organizations that meet the specific needs of this segment.

 

Being part of this network offers you a multitude of advantages: recognition of family quality, greater visibility, greater promotion, participation in the improvement of the sector, and a greater presence. Once you are part of Galicia Destino Familiar, you will position yourself as a differential family establishment compared to others. This way your potential clients will be able to locate you more easily.

 

How to be part of the network of establishments attached to Galicia Familiar?

 

If you have an establishment or develop a quality activity suitable for families and want to join Galicia Destino Familiar, you must request to join the program, send the completed application and the self-evaluation statement that will be previously sent and, if you meet the requirements, you will become part of this seal. Once you join, you will receive the accreditation document and the brand’s user manual in your communications. Your activity will be incorporated into the Web and App platforms, and other network dissemination actions.
